About the role
Koniag IT Systems, LLC, a Koniag Government Services company, is seeking an Automation Specialist-Mid with a Top-Secret security clearance to support KITS and our government customer in Arlington, VA. Responsibilities
- Analyze current business processes and identify opportunities for automation and workflow optimization
- Design, develop, test, implement, and maintain automated workflows and process solutions
- Support automation initiatives using workflow automation platforms, scripting tools, and enterprise technologies
- Translate business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
- Maintain technical documentation, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and user guides
- Ensure automation solutions comply with organizational policies, cybersecurity requirements, and data governance standards
- Avoid and troubleshoot issues to ensure continuity of operations
- Develop dashboards, reporting tools, and automated notifications to improve operational visibility
- Coordinate and work with internal and external organizations to support the goals and objectives of the Office of the Secretary of War, Research and Engineering, Chief Digital and Artificial Intelligence Office (CDAO)
Qualifications
- 3+ years related experience
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience required
- Ability to uphold a strict level of discretion and confidentiality
- Gather and develop requirements for assigned projects based on stakeholder input
- Demonstrates excellent communication skills, a high level of integrity, critical thinking, and leadership courage
- Strong organizational, project management and problem-solving skills with impeccable multi-tasking abilities
- Powerful analytical and problem-solving skills – including the ability to develop solutions in new and creative ways
- Ability to work independently on projects, from conception to completion
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Strong ability to brief senior executives with little notice
- Comfortable in a fast paced/dynamic environment
Clearance Requirement
Must be a US Citizen, hold a current DoD Top Secret Clearance.
