Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Complete daily, weekly, and monthly checklists.
- Document and troubleshoot minor maintenance issues involving production equipment.
- Enhance equipment operations and process improvement of equipment.
- Report all maintenance issues to Automation Lead.
- Adhere to automation KPIs of uptime of equipment.
- Maintain records of scheduled maintenance procedures.
- Perform custodial functions to clean and maintain equipment both inside and outside.
- Assist with managing outside contractors for required services.
- Maintain quality control measures in compliance with state and local laws.
- Adhere to company policies and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment within the facility and production areas.
- Immediately inform Automation Lead of any system discrepancies.
- Participate in the company's continuous improvement system to increase productivity.
- Support additional cultivation, harvest, and production teams as needed.
Minimum Qualifications
- Minimum 1-3 years' experience in a related position.
- Basic knowledge of electrical and mechanical operations.
- Able to follow detailed instructions and perform repetitive tasks.
- Positive attitude and good teamwork skills.
- Willingness to learn about, operate, and maintain facility equipment safely.
- Comfortable with training, operating, and working in tight spaces.
- Ability to safely climb, squat, bend, twist, kneel, and stand for at least 8 hours per day, and lift up to 50 pounds.
- Authorized to work in the United States.
- Must be 21 years of age or older and able to register with the state’s cannabis commission as an agent.
- Complies with all laws, regulations, and policies associated with the industry.
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in a regulated production facility (food, beverage, CPG, etc.) preferred.
Physical and Mental Demands
- Frequent stationary position, movement, communication, operation, preparation, placement, and positioning of objects, tools, or controls.
- Occasional lifting of up to 50 lbs.
- Close observation and ability to adjust focus required.
- Moderate noise levels in the work environment.
Working Environment
- Warehouse environment.
- Exposure to moving mechanical parts and risk of electrical shock.
- Moderate noise levels.
