Responsibilities
- Lead and manage automation projects from initiation to completion.
- Bring to bear resources from documentation and quotation specialists to support EPC requirements, including submittals, testing, and formatting.
- Collaborate with ACE, Projects Quotation Team, Project Execution Team, and Management to build guidelines for handling various project types.
- Partner with ACE teammates, project managers, and technical specialists to complete projects that combine engineered automation packages with complex documentation and submittal requirements.
- Recommend products and solutions that align with client needs, including valves, actuators, mounting kits, and engineered automation systems.
- Build and sustain solid customer connections, acting as a primary liaison for significant accounts.
- Partner with inside sales, outside sales, vendors, valve shops, and fabrication teams to provide accurate quotes, timely builds, and efficient delivery.
- Conduct project meetings, track achievements, and prepare status updates for customers and leadership.
- Drive alignment with Ferguson’s Intentional Product Strategy (IPS) to improve gross margin and efficiency.
- Act as a link between field teams, customers, and vendors to address challenges promptly and reduce delays.
- Find opportunities for process improvement and support ACE’s mission of standardization, collaboration, and shared guidelines across districts.
Qualifications
- 3–5 years of project management or automation/engineered products experience.
- A background in valve automation, engineered packages, or complex project environments is essential.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize several tasks and meet tight timelines.
- A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in the industry is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint, Project).
- Outstanding communication abilities with the capacity to work effectively alongside inside sales, outside sales, vendors, and customers.
- The capacity to travel occasionally as needed for projects and/or training.

Pay
- The estimated pay range for this position is $5,175.00 - $11,275.00 per month.
Schedule
- Occasional travel may be required for projects and/or training.
