Automation Programmer
Responsibilities
- Design custom interfaces and automation routines to increase the programming department’s efficiencies.
- Automate complex and repetitive tasks using UG NX Open API toolkits.
- Customize the NX interface in C# (or other language supported by UG NX Open).
- Automate all NC programs.
Requirements
- Experience with Siemens NX (prev. Unigraphics), CAM and program verification (CGTech Vericut) software.
- Manufacturing and/or programming experience preferred.
- Understanding of GD&T concepts preferred.
- Knowledge of 5-axis machining, machine setup, and fixture design concepts preferred.
Qualifications
- Education in Computer Science, Information Technology or relevant manufacturing experience preferred.
- U.S. Person with the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Security Clearance at the appropriate level.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen and able to satisfy federal government requirements for access to government information.
Skills
- C# programming skills.
- Experience with UG NX Open API toolkits.
- Experience with Siemens NX (prev. Unigraphics).
- Experience with CAM and program verification (CGTech Vericut) software.
