What You'll Do
- Sustain 24/7 production operations for high-volume automated manufacturing systems by rapidly diagnosing and resolving mechanical, electrical, and control system failures to minimize unplanned downtime
- Develop, debug, and document PLC code on Siemens S7-1200 and S7-1500, Allen-Bradley ControlLogix/CompactLogix, and Beckhoff TwinCAT 3 platforms to control robots, conveyors, and third-party equipment
- Program, teach, and commission industrial 6-axis robots including Fanuc, Kuka, Durr, Cartesian, and SCARA systems for complex multi-station automation tasks
- Design and implement 2D and 3D vision systems for part detection, alignment, and quality verification in high-speed production environments
- Lead the integration and calibration of gantry systems, including precision positioning, motion control, and synchronization with robotic and conveyor systems
- Design and implement fixturing and calibration solutions using GD&T principles to ensure repeatability, accuracy, and process capability
- Integrate and commission laser welding systems, with Trumpf experience preferred, including setup, parameter tuning, and process validation
- Support and maintain mechanical press systems, including Kistler load cells and force monitoring, and troubleshoot pneumatic, hydraulic, and servo-driven systems
- Implement FDS) and Atlas Copco fastening systems, including tool calibration, process validation, and integration with PLC and HMI
- Conduct formal risk assessments and implement ANSI/RIA R15.06 and OSHA-compliant safety systems, including light curtains, safety relays, emergency stops, and safe motion control
