About the role

The Automation Equipment Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing automation equipment. This includes working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that the equipment meets both functional and safety requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop automation equipment to meet project specifications
  • Conduct tests and evaluations of automation equipment to ensure compliance with safety standards
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including mechanical, software, and quality assurance engineers
  • Document design processes and test results in accordance with company standards

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience in automation engineering
  • Experience with PLC programming and automation systems
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficiency in CAD software and other engineering tools

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of electrical principles and practices
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Pay

  • $80,000 - $120,000 annually

Schedule

  • Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM
