About the role
The Automation Equipment Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing automation equipment. This includes working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that the equipment meets both functional and safety requirements.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop automation equipment to meet project specifications
- Conduct tests and evaluations of automation equipment to ensure compliance with safety standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including mechanical, software, and quality assurance engineers
- Document design processes and test results in accordance with company standards
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
- Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience in automation engineering
- Experience with PLC programming and automation systems
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in CAD software and other engineering tools
Qualifications
- Knowledge of electrical principles and practices
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
