Your Contribution
- Explores and implements new ways to automate and simplify systems and processes
- Conducts research, analyzes, and evaluates information to implement best practices
- Develops, enhances, and maintains monitoring systems for CNC based glass processing machines
- Integrates new technology into existing glass processing systems (automatic loading, automatic inspections, additional machine controls)
- Develops, enhances, and maintains systems for glass melting and forming processes
- Creates systems and processes for integrating data between manufacturing and business data systems
- Develops procedures for using new and existing systems and equipment
- Develops preventive maintenance procedures for systems, machines, and equipment
- Captures and analyzes machine, process, and facility data
- Identifies quality issues and writes reports
- Coordinates the work of outside resources and involved parties
- Recommends equipment and facility improvements and cost reductions in collaboration with the Engineering team
- Supports company-wide programs and initiatives such as 5S, TPM, etc.
- Performs other duties as assigned
Your Profile
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering
- 3 - 5 Years of professional experience with a background in industrial automation design (software and hardware)
- Proficiency in English and Microsoft Office
- Knowledge of programming, industrial networks, SCADA systems, PLC systems, OIT design, MES/ERP systems, SQL/database design, CAD, CNC integration, motors/drives/controls, robotics, computer vision, industrial power distribution, and electrical safety
