Automation Engineer

PURPOSE

In this role, you will be a key member of the Deer Creek Manufacturing Engineering Team. The team focuses on providing best-in-class solutions for a variety of manufacturing challenges in the aerospace industry. The team works with automated systems that incorporate robots, HMIs, SCADA systems, VFDs, PLCs, and other complex electro/mechanical controls equipment.

Essential Job Functions

• Provide best-in-class solutions for manufacturing challenges in the aerospace industry using automated systems.
• Work with robots, HMIs, SCADA systems, VFDs, PLCs, and other complex electro/mechanical controls equipment.

Required Qualifications

• Commensurate with experience in manufacturing engineering or related field.
• Experience with automated systems and complex electro/mechanical controls equipment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Technical knowledge of robotics, HMI, SCADA, VFDs, PLCs, and similar technologies.

Preferred Qualifications

• Additional experience in aerospace manufacturing or related fields.
• Knowledge of industry standards and regulations relevant to manufacturing automation.
• Ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams.
