About the role
Our client is a leading company in the equipment industry, specializing in innovative food and beverage processing systems. They are committed to designing custom machinery that exceeds customer expectations and driving technological advancements in automation.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement control systems to automate machinery and processes
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, manufacturing, and assembly, to understand project requirements and develop control strategies
- Program PLCs and HMI development
- Conduct testing and commissioning
- Provide troubleshooting support for control systems
- Mentor junior engineers
- Stay current with emerging control system technologies
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical and Controls Engineering or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in control systems engineering, preferably in an industrial or manufacturing environment
- Proficiency in PLC programming (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, or similar) and HMI development
- Strong understanding of control system theory, including PID and motion control
- Experience with industrial communication protocols such as Ethernet/IP, Modbus, Profibus
- Hands-on experience with hardware/software integration and troubleshooting
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to travel up to 25% domestically within the US and Canada

Pay
Salary Range: $120,000.00 – $140,000.00
Bonus Package: Discretionary
