About the role
The Automation Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining automated systems to improve efficiency and reduce errors in manufacturing processes.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop automation solutions using PLCs, SCADA systems, and other relevant technologies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including production, engineering, and quality assurance to ensure system integration and functionality.
- Perform system testing and debugging to ensure reliability and performance.
- Document project specifications, designs, and procedures for future reference and training purposes.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in automation engineering or a related field.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C#, or Java.
- Experience with industrial automation tools and software such as Allen Bradley, Siemens, or Rockwell Automation.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
