Automation Engineer
About the role
This role supports the design, development, deployment, and continual improvement of automated solutions for factory calibration and testing. The candidate will assist in programming, debugging, and troubleshooting automated systems, and work with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of automation solutions.
Responsibilities
- Support the design, development, deployment and continual improvement of automated solutions for factory calibration and testing.
- Aid in programming, debugging, and troubleshooting automated systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of automation solutions.
- Maintain detailed documentation for automation processes and systems.
Requirements
- Showcase skills in Problem Solving, Software Development and Testing, Programming, Technical Troubleshooting, and Artificial Intelligence.
- Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a relevant technical discipline.
- Have demonstrated knowledge of CAN and J1939 communication protocols.
- Have experience with Python, C, C++, and Qt.
- Be familiar with MS Access and SQL Server.
- Have knowledge of electro-hydraulic machine systems and components.
- Exhibit excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Display strong documentation skills.
- Develop and implement test plans.
Qualifications
- Top candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a relevant technical discipline.
- Experience with Python, C, C++, and Qt is preferred.
- Familiarity with MS Access and SQL Server is beneficial.
- Knowledge of electro-hydraulic machine systems and components is advantageous.
