Job Description Key Responsibilities Design, build, and maintain scalable test automation frameworks from the ground up to support UI, API, and end-to-end testing.Develop and execute automated test solutions using TypeScript, JavaScript, and Playwright to ensure application quality and reliability.Implement robust API and backend automation strategies, including service validation and integration testing.Drive adoption of Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) practices using Cucumber/Gherkin to improve collaboration and test coverage.Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines and support continuous testing initiatives across development lifecycles.Lead automation efforts from requirements gathering through implementation, troubleshooting, and production readiness with minimal supervision.Mentor engineers through code reviews, best practices, engineering standards, and automation strategy guidance.Evaluate and implement AI-powered testing solutions, leveraging tools such as GitHub Copilot, AI Agents, and MCP-based automation approaches to improve efficiency and quality. Basic Qualifications Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience Five to six years of relevant work experience with programming concepts, development logic or automating simple to medium complexity processes Preferred Skills & Qualifications Test Automation Frameworks: Design, build, and maintain scalable UI, API, and end-to-end automation frameworks.Playwright, TypeScript & JavaScript: Expert-level experience developing automated test solutions using modern web technologies.API & Backend Testing: Hands-on experience with API automation, service validation, and tools such as Postman or Bruno.BDD & Agile Delivery: Experience implementing Cucumber/Gherkin, Behavior-Driven Development (BDD), and Agile/Scrum methodologies.CI/CD & DevOps: Strong knowledge of GitHub Actions, GitLab, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, continuous testing, and Git-based source control.Cloud & Container Technologies: Experience with AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud-native testing strategies.AI-Driven Quality Engineering: Experience leveraging GitHub Copilot, AI Agents, MCP, intelligent test generation, and self-healing automation.Quality & Performance Testing: Knowledge of performance, load, scalability, security, and penetration testing practices.Technical Leadership: Proven ability to lead automation initiatives, mentor engineers, conduct code reviews, and establish engineering standards.Metrics & Compliance: Experience with quality dashboards, test coverage reporting, automation metrics, and regulated environments (PCI, PII, HIPAA).
