What You'll Do
- Maintain standardized work procedures for PLC troubleshooting, testing and automated equipment controls with several Manufacturing Engineering peers
- Aid in all areas of automated equipment maintenance and troubleshooting to ensure the cell team meets the equipment yield and availability targets
- Diagnose and resolve issues with controls components such as PLC, safety devices, HMI, servo drives, process hardware, and robots
- Manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Operate equipment using internal or third-party software to interpret logs and troubleshoot equipment
What You'll Bring
- Minimum of 2 years of Controls Technician experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment
- Proficient in troubleshooting electromechanical systems, building and wiring industrial electrical cabinets
- Skilled in Siemens PLC Language, Fanuc Robots, SCADA & HMI systems, such as Ignition, WinCC, or SIMATIC
- Basic user level knowledge of MS Excel, PowerPoint, PLM, ERP
- Preferred skills in programming Beckhoff PLC's or similar program languages to C, C++, C#, Python, or VB
Essential Physical Demands
- Ability to stand and walk for up to 12 hours a day, including over varied and uneven terrain
- Frequently and repetitively, lift, push and carry up to 35 lbs., including the ability to carry 20 lbs. up and down stairs
- Frequently and repetitively, bend, lift and reach
- Stoop, lay, bend, reach, squat, kneel, crouch, twist and crawl for extended periods of time, including up to 12 hours a day
- Climb and maintain balance on ladders, scaffolding or other high structures
- Find issues in a work process and receive safety signals using sight, touch, or hearing
- Wear Personal Protective Equipment, including but not limited to: PAPR, safety glasses, safety shoes, bump caps, and adhere to prescribed safety rules and guidelines
