Automation / Controls Specialist

About the role

Responsible for designing, installing, and maintaining automation systems in industrial settings. Works closely with engineers and operators to ensure system efficiency and safety.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement control systems using PLCs and HMI software
• Perform maintenance and troubleshooting on existing automation systems
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize plant operations
• Document procedures and provide training to new employees

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
• Minimum 3 years of experience in automation and controls
• Proficiency in programming languages such as ladder logic and SCL
• Experience with Allen Bradley and Siemens PLCs
