Automation Advisor

Responsibilities

  • Own and grow the pipeline by identifying, prioritizing, and pursuing high-value robotics opportunities across strategic accounts and key verticals.
  • Proactively hunt for net-new business while expanding existing customer relationships.
  • Develop winning strategies tailored to complex, long-cycle robotics deals, aligning solutions with customer business goals, industry trends, and automation needs.
  • Craft and execute sales strategies to close high-impact deals, leading negotiations and guiding opportunities from initial engagement through successful close.
  • Guide customers through the buying journey as a trusted advisor, translating technical capabilities into clear business value.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver seamless, high-impact customer experiences.
  • Deliver webinars, workshops, and industry insights to elevate robotics knowledge internally and externally, sharing best practices and contributing to scaling commercial capabilities.
  • Manage and forecast success by maintaining a strong opportunity funnel and providing accurate sales forecasts, tracking performance, market trends, and customer needs to continuously refine strategy.

Requirements

  • Experience & Expertise: 7–10+ years in technical sales, strategic business development, or robotics/automation solutions.
  • Demonstrated success closing complex, enterprise-level deals with long sales cycles.
  • Strategic Mindset: Proven ability to identify opportunities, develop sales strategies, and execute at a high level; strong understanding of market trends, customer challenges, and growth levers.
  • Communication & Influence: Exceptional ability to engage stakeholders at all levels, from technical teams to executive leadership; skilled at simplifying complex technical concepts into compelling business narratives.
  • Results Orientation: Track record of consistently meeting or exceeding targets; highly self-motivated with a “hunter” mentality and strong ownership mindset.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field.
