Southern States Toyotalift is hiring experienced Autocar®️ technicians to service and repair our line of severe-duty vocational trucks.
About the role
Autocar trucks are purpose-built for demanding industrial applications and require expert-level diagnostics, maintenance, and repair. As an Autocar technician, you’ll work on industry-leading innovations such as improved ergonomic cabs, integrated controls, and an unsurpassed body-chassis interface. These trucks are designed for comfort, durability, and unmatched performance in rough terrain and severe-duty environments.
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostics, repairs, and preventive maintenance on Autocar severe-duty trucks.
- Service and troubleshoot advanced systems, including integrated controls and body-chassis interfaces.
- Maintain and repair purpose-built components specific to Autocar’s niche applications.
- Ensure trucks meet operational and safety standards for demanding industrial environments.
- Collaborate with team members to deliver high-quality service and support.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a heavy-duty or vocational truck technician.
- Strong diagnostic skills and familiarity with advanced truck systems.
- Ability to work on severe-duty trucks in industrial or rough-terrain environments.
- Commitment to safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to Autocar’s specialized technology.
