About the role

This position is within our design and production team. You will work closely with our creative directors and craftsmen to bring our vision to life through intricate woodwork and joinery projects.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with designers and craftsmen to develop detailed project plans.
• Create and execute high-quality woodwork and joinery projects according to specifications.
• Ensure all projects adhere to Merritt’s quality standards and safety protocols.
• Stay updated on industry trends and techniques to enhance project outcomes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Woodworking, Furniture Design, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in woodworking and joinery.
• Proficiency in hand and power tools.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Qualifications

• Experience with CNC machinery and other advanced woodworking equipment.
• Knowledge of sustainable materials and practices.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.

Pay

The base salary for this position is $50,000 - $60,000 annually, depending on experience.

Schedule

Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, with occasional evening or weekend work as needed.
