AutoCAD Drafter

Title: AutoCAD DrafterLocation: Irving, TXDuration: ContractRate: $27.00 - $35.00/HR Work Requirements: US Citizen, GC Holders or Authorized to Work in the U.S. Job Summary: The AutoCAD Drafter will provide 2D drafting support as a backfill for an existing team member. This is a full-time, six-month contract position working fully onsite. The work will primarily involve completing templates and line work in AutoCAD. It is not complex 3D drafting, but the individual must be comfortable navigating AutoCAD and using its core features independently. Key Responsibilities:Create, edit, and modify 2D drawings in AutoCADComplete template-based drafting and line workFollow the company's established CAD standardsUse AutoCAD features including layering and dynamic blocksNavigate efficiently within AutoCAD and update existing templatesUse Excel information and tie-ins as part of the AutoCAD drafting processSupport plotting from AutoCAD through BluebeamCollaborate with engineers to complete drafting requirements Required Qualifications:At least two years of AutoCAD 2D drafting experienceStrong familiarity with AutoCAD navigation and native featuresExperience with layering, dynamic blocks, templates, and line workAbility to follow established CAD standardsWorking knowledge of ExcelAbility to work fully onsiteDegree not required; relevant experience is preferred Preferred Qualifications:General civil or structural engineering drafting experienceUnderstanding of concrete and rebarExposure to Bluebeam About INSPYR Solutions Technology is our focus and quality is our commitment.
