AutoCAD Drafter

The AutoCAD Operator performs entry-level drafting and design support tasks for geotechnical engineering projects under the direction of senior staff. This role is primarily office-based and involves preparing engineering drawings, site maps, and technical figures using AutoCAD software. The AutoCAD Operator develops technical drafting skills over time and may assist with additional project-related tasks as experience grows. The role maintains a positive customer service attitude and demonstrates an understanding of ECS Core Values. Responsibilities Assists with drafting and design support for geotechnical and geostructural engineering projectsPrepares drawings, figures, and layouts using AutoCAD under supervisionDevelops site maps, soil boring logs, and soil boring location diagramsDrafts soil profiles and related geotechnical visualizationsAssists in preparing engineering drawings (e.g., retaining walls, slopes, foundations, drainage systems)Drafts engineering details and figures for reports and deliverablesSupports preparation of reports, drawings, and project documentationPerforms other project-related tasks as assigned Required Qualifications 0 years of related experienceHigh school diploma or GED required.
