About the role

Join us as an Auto Property Damage Adjuster (Fast Track Representative) to play your part in transforming the way we help customers manage risk. Our Claims professionals support policyholders through catastrophic events and help them recover from losses.

Responsibilities

  • Investigate, evaluate and resolve first and third party auto liability claims, minor injury claims and low complexity general liability losses.
  • Accurately and thoroughly document investigations, damage evaluations, and claim resolutions.
  • Complete resolution action plans based on applicable law, coverage, and supporting evidence.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and ongoing communication throughout the claim lifecycle.
  • Maintain high standards of customer service, including prompt contact and follow-up.
  • Conduct thorough investigations of coverage, liability, and damages, documenting facts and maintaining evidence.
  • Comply with statutory and regulatory requirements in all applicable jurisdictions.
  • Establish appropriate loss and expense reserves with documented rationale.
  • On-going review of reserves required throughout the claim lifecycle.
  • Demonstrate technical efficiency through timely, consistent execution of best claim handling practices and guidelines.
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external customers on claims and account issues.
  • Maintain and manage a diary system to efficiently manage and resolve assigned claim inventory.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Two years previous claim handling experience preferred.

Qualifications

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Analytical with good decision-making skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently, handle multiple tasks simultaneously, and exercise good judgment.

Skills

  • Property and Casualty licenses required, must be obtained within 6 months of hire.

Pay

Compensation includes base salary and eligibility for a bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable incentive plan.
