Auto Body Paint Technician - Experienced

About the role

This is a 100% commission-based position with uncapped earning potential. First-year earnings typically range from $65,000 to $75,000, with long-term potential reaching $70,000 to $150,000 or more, depending on individual performance.

As a Paint Technician, you’ll travel to customer locations and work independently, managing your day like running your own business.

Responsibilities

• Travel to customers to perform high-quality minor automotive reconditioning, including paint touch-ups and full surface repairs using advanced spray equipment and proven techniques
• Prep, blend, and finish vehicle surfaces to perfection
• Work at partner locations such as dealerships, rental agencies, and auctions
• Deliver fast, flawless results that exceed customer expectations

Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in collision repair or bodywork
• Strong attention to detail and color accuracy
• Self-motivation, grit, and a strong work ethic
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
• Excellent communication skills and a customer-first mindset
• Physical ability to kneel, bend, squat, and lift up to 45 lbs
• Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record

Pay

Starting compensation is expected to be $65,000–$75,000 per year, depending on qualifications, experience, and geographic location.
