This entry‑level Paint Prepper position offers a rare opportunity to get paid while learning a trade, with training that can lead to a Journeyman auto body professional earning $100,000+ per year.
Responsibilities
- Prime, block, and polish cars
- Perform jamming tasks
- Assist with painting when possible (a plus)
- Work seamlessly with the paint team
Requirements
- No prior experience required
- Willing to take direction
- Detailed and hard‑working
- Strong ability to work with your hands
- Commitment to training (3‑5 years to become a journeyman professional)
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen prior to hire
Pay
Selected Auto Body Shop Apprentice applicants will earn $18.00 per hour. The Paint Prepper Apprentice position includes a base hourly compensation range of $18‑$20.
Schedule
Monday – Friday, 7:30 am – 5:00 pm with a 30‑minute lunch. Overtime as needed.
