One of New York’s top plaintiff personal injury firms is seeking an experienced Auto Personal Injury Attorney to join our growing team. Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a caseload of complex automobile and motor vehicle personal injury matters from inception through settlement, verdict, or trial.
- Handle depositions, motion practice, court appearances, mediations, arbitrations, and trials.
- Develop and execute case strategies designed to maximize client recovery.
- Analyze liability, damages, insurance coverage, and medical evidence.
- Negotiate effectively with insurance carriers and defense counsel.
- Supervise and mentor junior attorneys, paralegals, and support staff as needed.
- Maintain strong communication with clients, experts, medical providers, and opposing counsel.
- Ensure cases are properly managed, deadlines are met, and files remain current.
- Contribute to departmental initiatives, firm growth, and overall case-management strategy.
Qualifications
- J.D. from an accredited law school and admission to practice in New York.
- Minimum 5 years of personal injury litigation experience, preferably representing plaintiffs in automobile/motor vehicle accident cases.
- Strong knowledge of New York personal injury law and civil procedure.
- Proven ability to manage cases from inception through resolution and/or trial.
- Strong deposition, negotiation, motion practice, and courtroom skills.
- Excellent written, verbal, and client-communication skills.
- Highly organized with the ability to manage a high-volume caseload and multiple priorities.
- Prior supervisory or management experience is preferred but not required.
Pay
Competitive Compensation: $150,000–$300,000 base salary, plus additional bonuses based on production and performance.
