Responsibilities
- Deliver on-site coaching and consultation in special education early intervention (3-5 years) and early school-age classrooms located in Delaware County, PA
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate instructional practices, behavioral supports, and implementation context (e.g., structured classroom observations, teacher focus groups)
- Support the development and implementation of tiered behavioral and instructional strategies aligned with evidence-based practices for autistic and developmentally delayed children using a collaborative coaching model
- Differentiate training, consultation, and coaching supports based on classroom readiness, fidelity, and identified needs
- Audit the fidelity of classroom staff in using evidence-based practices and provide feedback to support ongoing improvement
- Design and delivery of professional development and training workshops for teachers in collaboration with the project team
- Support the development and implementation of a train-the-trainer and capacity-building models for educators and technical assistance staff
- Build and maintain collaborative relationships with educators, coaches, and leadership to support implementation planning and system alignment
- Contribute to the development of needs assessment reports, implementation plans, and leadership presentations
- Maintain project documentation, track progress toward deliverables, and participate in team planning to ensure alignment with project goals and timelines
- Provide coaching and intervention support within CASSI or other community-based projects, as needed (e.g., CASSI Achievements classrooms)
- Apply relevant federal, state, and local regulations related to special education and diverse learners in service delivery and consultation
Qualifications
- Possession of field-appropriate clinical licensure or educational certification (e.g., board certified behavior analyst/BCBA, school psychologist, special education teacher, speech-language pathologist) preferred
- Specialty certificate in Applied Behavioral Analysis preferred
- Master’s degree in education, Education Administration, Psychology, Speech Language Pathology, or related field, required
- Five years of experience providing effective training, support, school programming, and implementation of strategies for students with autism spectrum disorders and other developmental delays, allied health professionals, and internal/external agencies required
- Two years of experience working in classrooms and school settings
- Experience providing and/or coordinating staff development activities required
- Experience teaching or providing clinical services to children or youth required
Pay
Minimum pay range USD $31.01/Hr. Maximum pay range USD $54.85/Hr.
