Autism Specialist

About the role

Little Stars Therapy Services seeks an experienced Autism Specialist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will provide therapeutic services to children with autism spectrum disorders, focusing on social skills, communication, and behavioral interventions.

Responsibilities

• Conduct individual and group therapy sessions based on evidence-based practices
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with families and other professionals
• Evaluate progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
• Participate in staff meetings and training sessions
• Assist in the development and implementation of school-based programs

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Special Education, or related field
• Current license to practice as an Autism Specialist in the state of [State]
• Experience working with individuals with autism spectrum disorders
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Psychology or related field preferred
• Knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and other evidence-based interventions
• Experience with data collection and analysis
