About the role
The role of Authorized Officer, Software Engineer Equities Risk & Deal Stores at UBS Business Solutions US LLC involves designing and implementing solutions, writing high-quality, production-grade code, working across the full software development lifecycle, analyzing incident root causes, performing code reviews, and delivering strategic initiatives to support the growth of the Investment Bank (IB) business.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement solutions, writing high quality, production-grade code.
- Work across the full software development lifecycle, in an agile team, using automated testing.
- Analyze incident root causes, provide answers and document provided resolutions.
- Perform code reviews and share results with colleagues.
- Deliver strategic initiatives to support the growth of our IB business.
- Triage global business and technology, to understand business requirements.
- Cook up releases and dependencies across teams facilitating cross-team collaboration.
- Responsible for the system, perform level 3 support to resolve production defects, and steer the production operations team in rollout and support-related matters.
Requirements
- Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering (Any), Technology, or a related field of study.
- Alternate requirement: Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering (Any), Technology, or a related field of study and 2 years of experience in the job offered or 2 years of experience as a Technology Analyst, Data Analyst, or a related occupation in lieu of Master’s degree.
- Knowledge of the following: Java technical stack; Server-side java development; SQL; Perl; Python; UNIX Shell Scripting; Sybase; Oracle; Agile SDLC, with git, GitHub, GitLab and continuous integration; Spring boot; Maven; Flask; React.js; Mongo.
Qualifications
- Experience in the job offered or equivalent experience as a Technology Analyst, Data Analyst, or a related occupation.

Benefits
Salary Range & Work Schedule: $131,997 to $160,000/year, 40 hours/week.
