About the role

As a Zerspanungsmechaniker (Machining Mechanic) apprentice, you will be part of a dynamic field essential to manufacturing technology. Your primary task will be to produce precision components based on technical drawings using various machine tools such as lathes, milling machines, and grinders. You will work with materials like metal, plastic, or ceramic.

Training overview

  • Introduction and basics: Learn the fundamentals of metalworking, including material properties and how to read and interpret technical drawings.
  • Tool and machine operation: Get familiar with various tools and machines, including how to set them up, operate them, and perform maintenance.
  • Turning, milling, grinding: Deepen your skills in these core techniques under the guidance of experienced professionals while producing your first components.
  • Quality control and inspection: Learn how to check components for dimensional accuracy and surface quality using appropriate inspection methods.
  • CNC technology: Gain hands-on experience in programming and operating CNC machines, including setting up programs on a PC and independently processing orders.
  • Project work and specialization: In the final phase, specialize in specific areas and work on your own projects to apply and deepen your knowledge.

Requirements
