Aurora House Youth Care Worker (Full-Time Overnights)

Aurora House Youth Care Workers provide overnight wake supervision, ensure the security of the program, and handle routine office tasks and daily program preparation. You will assist the Team Leader in teaching youth daily living skills and supporting service plan goals, supervise resident self-administration of medications, and complete at least four Restorative Service notes per month.

Responsibilities

• Maintain wake supervision of youth and program security during overnight shifts (12:00 a.m. – 8:00 a.m.)
• Perform routine office work and prepare the program for daily operations
• Assist the Team Leader in instructing youth in daily living skills and tracking progress toward service plan goals
• Supervise resident self-administration of medications
• Complete a minimum of four Restorative Service notes per month

Requirements

• High School Graduate or equivalent
• Minimum 21 years of age
• Clean NYS Driver’s License
• SCR Clearance
• NYSOMH Fingerprint Clearance
• Red Cross and Crisis Intervention Training (provided by the agency)

Pay

$41,729 – $51,563 annually
