About the role
Within the Audit teams at EY Tunisia, you will work with companies across various sectors on statutory and contractual audit engagements. You will operate in a demanding, formative, and stimulating environment, interacting with diverse stakeholders and addressing high-value financial challenges.
Responsibilities
- Participate in the planning and preparation of audit engagements.
- Perform audit work on significant cycles, including:
- Treasury
- Purchases and suppliers
- Sales and clients
- Fixed assets
- Inventories
- Payroll and social charges
- Provisions and commitments
- Taxation
- Compliance of financial statements with applicable frameworks
- Analyze internal control processes and identify risk areas.
- Conduct audit tests and document work in tools and files.
- Participate in the analytical review of accounts and analysis of significant variations.
- Contribute to the preparation of mission summaries and deliverables for clients and managers.
- Formulate clear findings and pragmatic recommendations.
- Coordinate with various client stakeholders during engagements.
- Occasionally supervise junior profiles on specific mission phases.
- Provide regular progress reporting to the Senior and Manager.
- Ensure adherence to deadlines, deliverable quality, and EY methodological standards.
- Contribute to team skill development by sharing best practices and knowledge.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree (Bac+5) in accounting, finance, audit, or equivalent.
1 to 4 years of experience in external audit, ideally acquired in a consulting firm.
A strong understanding of financial statements, accounting principles, and corporate financial challenges is highly desirable.

- Strong grasp of financial audit fundamentals.
- Good knowledge of accounting principles, financial standards, and audit norms.
- Ability to analyze financial data and identify risk areas.
- Proficiency in Excel and office tools.
- Strong writing skills in French; professional English is an asset.
