Audit & Tax Supervisor

We are looking for an experienced Certified Public Accountant (CPA) to join our team as an Audit & Tax Supervisor. The ideal candidate will have strong public accounting experience, with expertise in both audit and tax engagements, and the ability to lead, supervise, and review the work of Staff Accountants. This is an on-site position based in North Little Rock, Arkansas. Key Responsibilities Plan, manage, and complete audit and tax engagements accurately and timely.Prepare and review business and individual tax returns.Perform and supervise audit and assurance engagements.Review financial statements, workpapers, and tax returns prepared by Staff Accountants.Lead, direct, and mentor Staff Accountants throughout engagements.Work with clients involving multiple entities, multi-state operations, nonprofit organizations, trusts, and other complex structures.Assist with bookkeeping and accounting activities as needed.Communicate effectively with clients and team members regarding engagement status, issues, and recommendations.Develop and maintain strong client relationships.Stay current with changes in tax laws, accounting standards, and industry requirements.Assist with office management and staff training as needed.Represent the organization professionally at networking and other professional events. Qualifications Active CPA license required; Arkansas licensure preferred.Minimum of 5 years of recent public accounting experience.Minimum of 3 years of experience as a CPA.Strong experience in both audit and tax.Previous experience at a Supervisor or equivalent level.Experience supervising, directing, and reviewing accounting staff.Strong knowledge of tax preparation, audit procedures, financial reporting, and accounting principles.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Strong organizational and time-management skills.Ability to work independently and collaboratively.Professional, dependable, positive, and client-focused approach.
