Audit and Tax Supervisor -

Essential Duties

• Oversee and manage multiple client engagements; planning, executing, directing, and completing engagements across several industries, including non-profits and small businesses.
• Develop and maintain excellent client relationships through superior customer service. Serve as the primary client contact on all related matters and directly interact with client owners and senior personnel.

Education, Skills and Experience

• Thorough knowledge and use of ProsystemsFx Engagement and Prosystems Tax are key for this role.
• Experience: 5+ years of progressive CPA firm experience
• Background in audits required - Some tax experience preferred

Preparation and Reporting

• Prepare all necessary audit reports, financial statements and related disclosures.

Supervision and Training

• Serve as the primary client contact on all related matters and directly interact with client owners and senior personnel.
• Serve as a mentor and supervisor for associates and interns on audit process, as needed.

Professional Development

• Keep current on industry developments and ensure professional development through ongoing education.

Client Interaction and Problem Solving

• Communicate with clients as needed.
• Anticipate and address client concerns, escalating problems as they arise.

Department Improvement

• Participate in firm initiatives aimed at continually improving the department’s processes and supporting infrastructure.

Technical Skills

• QuickBooks experience a plus
