Responsibilities
- Lead key aspects of larger, more complex engagements and serve as the in-charge professional
- Demonstrate strong command of technical accounting guidance under GAAP and SEC frameworks
- Apply a solid understanding of generally accepted auditing standards, and advanced audit procedures and techniques for complex financial statement areas
- Develop and enhance client relationships through strong communication and project management skills
- Execute engagement planning activities including gathering information for time budgets, coordinating all planning activities on engagements with the supervision and guidance from more experienced staff, and designing a risk-based audit approach
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
- Thorough understanding of GAAP and GAAS
- Strong project management, team orientation, and interpersonal skills
- CPA candidate
- 4-5+ years of public accounting experience, industry, or a combination of both
- Energy and/or renewable energy industry experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Accounting or related field
- CPA license
Benefits
At Weaver, we offer a competitive compensation range of $80,000 to $95,000 in the Denver Metropolitan Area, along with a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, disability, life insurance, a 401(k) plan, flexible scheduled time off, minimum of 56 hours of sick and safe leave, 11 holidays, and 2 scheduled recharge days. We also provide in-house CPE and learning opportunities through our internal Learning & Development department.
Pay
A reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this position is $80,000 to $95,000 in the Denver Metropolitan Area. Actual compensation will be based on a variety of factors including but not limited to experience, skills, certifications, and geographical location.
Schedule
Flexible scheduled time off (STO) is offered, with a minimum of 56 hours of sick and safe leave, 11 holidays, and 2 scheduled recharge days.
