About the role
The Audit Senior Manager will lead audit engagements for clients in the Government Services sector. Responsibilities include planning and executing audits, providing expert guidance to junior team members, and maintaining strong client relationships.
Responsibilities
- Lead complex audit engagements for government entities
- Develop and present audit findings to clients and regulatory bodies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations
- Train and mentor junior audit professionals
- Maintain and enhance professional networks within the industry
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- CPA certification preferred
- 5+ years of experience in audit or consulting
- Experience in government services auditing is highly desirable
Qualifications
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Skills
- Knowledge of government contracting and procurement processes
- Experience with Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX) and other regulatory frameworks
- Strong project management and time management skills
