Audit Senior

We are a growing CPA firm in Pompano Beach, FL seeking an experienced Audit Senior to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for an audit professional with a strong background in construction industry audits.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage audit engagements from planning through completion
• Perform audits and reviews for clients within the construction industry
• Analyze financial statements, account balances, and internal controls
• Prepare and review audit workpapers and financial statements
• Identify and communicate accounting and audit issues to management
• Work closely with clients to understand their businesses and provide value-added guidance
• Supervise and mentor staff accountants on engagements
• Ensure engagements are completed accurately, efficiently, and in accordance with professional standards
• Communicate directly with clients and firm leadership throughout the audit process

Requirements

• 3+ years of public accounting audit experience
• Construction industry audit experience (required)
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and auditing standards
• Experience managing multiple engagements and meeting deadlines
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
• Ability to work independently while also being a collaborative team member
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• CPA or CPA eligibility is preferred
• Must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship for a non-immigrant visa
