Audit Manager - Commercial
About the role
Weaver is seeking an Audit Manager to join our growing Commercial Audit team. This role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, a CPA, and 5+ years of experience in public accounting, with a focus on multiple industry groups including manufacturing and distribution, healthcare, technology, media and telecommunications, and professional services. Additional qualifications include a Master’s degree in Accounting or related field, proven ability to manage, mentor, and develop staff, strong relationship management and practice development skills, and experience with a variety of industries and types of audits.
Responsibilities
- Provide excellent service to clients throughout all phases of the audit
- Develop, train, and mentor Associates and Senior Associates
- Work closely with firm leadership and play a key role in business development and firm administration activities
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- CPA required
- 5+ years of experience in public accounting
- Experience working with multiple industry groups across the Commercial sector
- Master’s degree in Accounting or related field (preferred)
- Proven ability to manage, mentor, and develop staff
- Strong relationship management and practice development skills
- Ability to attract and service new clients and expand services to existing clients
- Experience with a variety of industries and types of audits (preferred)
