About the role

The Weaver Experience is a full-service national accounting, advisory, and consulting firm dedicated to providing exceptional service and fostering a supportive, collaborative workplace culture. As an Audit Manager, you will play a key role in business development and firm administration, working closely with firm leadership and managing and mentoring Associates and Senior Associates.

Responsibilities

  • Provide excellent service to clients throughout all phases of the audit
  • Develop, train, and mentor Associates and Senior Associates
  • Work closely with firm leadership
  • Play a key role in business development and firm administration activities

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
  • CPA required
  • 5+ years of experience in public accounting
  • Experience working with multiple industry groups across the Commercial sector, including manufacturing and distribution, healthcare, technology, media and telecommunications, and professional services

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Accounting or related field
  • Proven ability to manage, mentor, and develop staff
  • Strong relationship management and practice development skills
  • Proven ability to attract and service new clients and expand services to existing clients
  • Experience with a variety of industries and types of audits

Compensation is commensurate with experience.

Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you must have a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and a CPA. Additional requirements include 5+ years of experience in public accounting and experience working with multiple industry groups across the Commercial sector. A Master’s degree in Accounting or related field, proven ability to manage, mentor, and develop staff, strong relationship management and practice development skills, and experience with a variety of industries and types of audits are preferred.

Skills

Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills are essential. Leadership and team management abilities are also important.
