Audit Manager

Well-respected Public Accounting firm in Longview, Texas is seeking an Audit Manager. The firm offers a competitive salary range of $100,000 - $150,000 annually and a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, 401k with a 3% match, PTO (4+ weeks), limited busy season hours, and paid holidays.

Essential Functions

• Supervise, complete, and review multiple audit programs simultaneously
• Supervise staff on multiple concurrent engagements
• Review and assess completion of audits
• Cook with and coordinate with clients and the firm to take necessary action on audit findings
• Ensure deliverables and work papers are clear, concise, well-written, and conform with firm standards and professional requirements
• Participate in developing audit department training, methodology, and resources
• Prioritize and manage multiple engagements to meet schedule and budget requirements

Qualifications

• CPA with 5+ years of experience in public accounting conducting external audits
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field preferred
• Significant supervisory experience
• Strong interpersonal skills with the proven ability to manage and develop staff
• Impeccable oral and written communication skills
• Strong background with private and publicly traded companies, experience with telecommunications a plus!
• Able to travel 15 – 20% throughout the year
