About the role
The Audit Executive is responsible for managing the day-to-day execution audits. They are responsible for the independent accomplishment of work assignments, ensuring that all audit members are productive and engaged. They manage daily audit questions and ensure the overall quality of the audit work, promoting continuous enhancements and improvements in financial and operational controls, processes, and system capabilities.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily audit questions and ensure that all audit members are productive and engaged.
- Ensure the preparation of timely audit reports for executive management and the Audit Committee of the Board of Directors.
- Provide assurance as to the effectiveness of the bank's systems and controls through these audits, which serve as a robust third line of defense in the bank's overall Enterprise Risk Management strategy.
Requirements
- Proven experience in leading and managing audit teams.
- Strong understanding of banking regulations and compliance standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- CPA certification preferred.
Skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
