About the role
The Audit Associate position at our firm involves performing a variety of audit tasks under supervision. This includes planning and conducting audits, evaluating internal controls, and preparing audit reports. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills and a bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
Responsibilities
- Conduct financial statement audits and other assurance engagements
- Evaluate internal control systems and identify areas for improvement
- Prepare and present audit findings and recommendations to clients and management
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient and effective audit processes
- Stay updated with changes in accounting standards and regulations
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 2+ years of experience in auditing or related field
- CPA certification preferred
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
