Audit and Assurance Intern - Winter/Spring 2028

Anders’ Audit and Assurance Department is seeking a motivated intern to collaborate and deliver outstanding results. This in-person internship runs from January 2028 through the last week of March 2028 at our St. Louis, MO office.

Responsibilities

• Conduct audits of client company financials to ensure compliance with GAAP and other accounting standards
• Assist with determining appropriate audit methodology
• Assist with performance of risk assessments
• Examine records to ensure proper recording and authorization of transactions, compliance with policies, and applicable laws
• Prepare detailed reports of audit findings and recommendations for client companies
• Prepare portions of compilation, review, and audit engagements
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Must be enrolled in an accounting, finance, or related curriculum at the junior level or higher (graduating December 2029 or earlier)
• Plan to pursue CPA certification
• Minimum 25+ hour work week
• Must be authorized to work in the United States now and in the future without requiring sponsorship
