Interns at RSM work with large and small companies across various industries, developing strong client relationships and contributing to multiple team engagements throughout the year.

Responsibilities

• Understand clients' needs and expectations, their business and industry, accounting and control systems, employees, company values, and industry‑related GAAP and GAAS issues.
• Develop an understanding of the RSM audit approach and tools.
• Assess risks and evaluate the client's internal control structure.
• Perform substantive tests and tests of internal controls to identify and resolve accounting or reporting issues.
• Draft financial statements under prescribed formats.

Basic Qualifications

• 90 credit hours completed.
• Working toward a B.A. / B.S. degree or equivalent from an accredited university, majoring in Accounting.
• Travel to assigned client locations is required, with reliable transportation.
• Preferred minimum GPA of 3.0.

Pay

Compensation Range: $34 – $40 per hour.
