Responsibilities

• Hands-On Learning: From day 1, gain practical experience and mentorship from audiologists in comprehensive evaluations, patient engagement, and solution-oriented education. Clinics may also offer experience in pediatric and vestibular testing.
• Peer interaction: Virtually connect with externs nationwide, building a supportive network for structured encouragement. This collaboration enhances clinical skills and insights into office operations.
• Continuous Growth: Thrive in an environment of learning and development by participating in monthly manufacturer-led workshops or meet one-on-one with trainers for individualized learning. Daily Extern Responsibilities:

• Learn and ask questions to your preceptor.
• Appointment documentation.
• Lead selection, fitting, follow-up, and service appointments.
• Ordering/servicing hearing aids.
• Earmold impressions.
• Conduct follow-up calls with patients.
• Participate in clinic/company meetings.
• Any task beneficial to your clinic.

Requirements

• Must actively be in an AuD program.

Pay

$19-23/hr
