Audiology Extern

Position Summary/Responsibilities

This position provides, under the direct supervision of a licensed Audiologist, comprehensive Adult & Pediatric clinical audiology evaluations and aural rehabilitation services. Completion of a 4th year Extern project in collaboration with Audiologist preceptor(s) is also a requirement.

Education/Experience

• Bachelors degree and current enrollment in AuD program
• Applicant must also be eligible for 4th year Externship with their AuD program

Licensure

• Must have and maintain Audiology Intern licensure by Texas State Board of Examiners in Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology
• Must have a current AHA BLS Healthcare Provider or AHA BLS Instructor Provider card
