About the role

The Rex ENT Raleigh Clinic is seeking a dedicated Audiologist to join our patient-centered team. In this role, you’ll provide comprehensive diagnostic audiological evaluations for patients of all ages, ensuring accurate, thoughtful assessments that support individualized care. Your work will include hearing aid testing, evaluation, selection, and fittings tailored to each patient’s unique needs. You’ll also perform electrophysiological and balance testing as part of our full diagnostic service line. A key part of this position is counseling patients and their families — offering clear, compassionate explanations of results and guiding them through rehabilitative options. Collaboration is at the heart of our clinic, and you’ll partner closely with our ENT physicians to communicate findings and support effective treatment planning.

Responsibilities

• Completes Audiology documentation, billing, and statistics per department guidelines.
• Manages daily caseload with efficiency and efficacy.
• Meets productivity standards per team guidelines.
• Provides services across multiple clinical locations as assigned.
• Performs basic and complex diagnostic testing to assess auditory, vestibular, and related conditions.
• Analyzes and interprets results of diagnostic testing to establish patient goals and manage treatment programs.
• Counsels patients and families regarding hearing loss, implications, and rehabilitation options.
• Communicates relevant information to promote continuity of care.
• Performs electrophysiologic testing (ABR, ASSR, intraoperative monitoring).
• Performs newborn and pediatric hearing screenings, behavioral assessments (VRA, CPA), and age-appropriate testing methods.
• Provides amplification services, including hearing aid evaluation, fitting, verification (real ear measures), and follow-up care.
• Administers comprehensive cochlear implant evaluations, programming, and management.
• Administers middle ear implant evaluations, programming, and management.
• Administers auditory brainstem implant (ABI) evaluations, programming, and management.
• Performs tinnitus assessment and management.
• Performs vestibular assessment and management.
• Provides clinical precepting and teaching for students and externs under the guidance of the clinical specialist or other subject matter experts.
• Provides regular feedback, coaching and mentoring.
• Evaluates the learner's performance.
• Assists in the planning and coordinating of clinical programs in collaboration with the clinical specialist, supervisor, or manager.
• Participates in continuous improvement in clinical services by attending and participating in departmental meetings and in-services.

Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited Audiology program.
• Licensed as an Audiologist by the North Carolina Board of Examiners for Speech-Language Pathologists and Audiologists.
• BLS certification within 3 months of hire date.
• Audiologist experience preferred.

• Excellent interpersonal skills that allow effective working relationships with a diverse customer, colleague, and vendor population, including listening, sales, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong keyboard, computer, Audiology diagnostic, and hearing aid software and equipment experience.
• Ability to organize time and prioritize numerous duties.
• Ability to work closely with multidisciplinary teams to maximize patient outcomes.
• Must deal with customers in a caring and respectful manner.

Pay

$35.87 - $51.57 per hour (Hiring Range). Pay offers are determined by experience and internal equity.
