About the role

White Oak Medical Center seeks to hire an Audiologist for our newborn audiology department who will embrace our mission to extend God’s care through the ministry of physical, mental, and spiritual healing. Responsibilities

• Interpret newborn hearing screening results
• Provide consultation to parents related to hearing and speech‑language development – refer for any necessary follow‑up
• Maintain records related to newborn hearing screening
• Conduct newborn hearing screenings on an as‑needed basis in support of the hearing technicians

Qualifications

• Master of Arts degree in Audiology
• Certificate of Clinical Competence from A.S.H.A.
• Licensure in Maryland as an Audiologist
• Active American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required

Schedule

• Employment type: Per Diem
• Hours per week: 8 hrs./week
• Typical schedule: 1‑2 shifts/week on weekdays and weekends as needed
• Shift type: Day/Weekend
• Availability/accessibility on weekends as needed
• Holiday work required per company holiday calendar

Pay

$48 per hour (per diem)
