About the role
Blythedale Children’s Hospital is an independent children’s specialty hospital in New York State. Our multidisciplinary team provides critical care to patients with complex medical conditions. We partner with academic medical centers in the Northeast Corridor of the United States to admit patients to our state-of-the-art 118-bed facility. Our experts integrate clinical expertise and health education in our on-site simulation rooms to provide extensive parent training to get our patients home safely.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive diagnostic evaluations and implement individualized treatment plans, including the fitting and management of hearing technology (hearing and hearing assisting devices) in infants, children, and adolescents.
- Work with ENTs, SLPs, and school districts to facilitate educational success.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure every child has the communication tools they need to thrive.
- Provide counseling to guide families through the emotional and practical implications of a hearing loss diagnosis, providing resources for early intervention services.
Requirements
- Minimum 2+ years of experience providing audiology care to a pediatric population in a healthcare setting.
- Proficiency in pediatric-specific software and hardware (e.g., Verifit, Oticon/Phonak fitting suites, CI programming software).
- Knowledge of Expanse (formerly Meditech) and Dragon (for dictation) helpful.
- Doctor of Audiology (Au.D.) from an accredited institution in the U.S.
- Valid New York State Licensure in Audiology.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology (CCC-A) from ASHA or ABA certification preferred.
- Pediatric Audiology Specialty Certification (PASC) is a plus.

Pay
USD $105,000.00 - USD $140,000.00 /Yr.
Schedule
Monday-Friday, 8am-4pm or 830am-430pm.
