About the role
We are seeking a highly motivated, professional audiologist to join 4 pediatric otolaryngologists and audiologists in Orlando, FL. Join a dynamic team providing the highest quality age-appropriate care for patients newborn to 18 years of age, with occasional adult patients within the scope of practice and established audiology standards and functioning effectively as a member of the rehabilitation team.
Responsibilities
- Provides diagnostic assessments, including behavioral audiometry, visual reinforcement audiometry, conditioned play audiometry, standard audiometry and central auditory processing testing as assigned.
- Counsels parent(s) regarding hearing loss, communication options, and financial resources.
- Completes documentation meeting departmental standards for content, accuracy, and timeliness.
- Provides supervision to audiology interns as assigned.
- Includes family/caregiver in patient care and provides effective education appropriate for learning needs of patient and family.
- Knowledge of pediatric theory and practice
- Excellent oral and written communication skills for effective communication of information
- Positive interpersonal skills and ability to function in an interdisciplinary environment
- Travel to other Children 's Ear Nose Throat and Allergy locations based on patient census, program development, and/or contract obligation with physician practices
Requirements
- Master's Degree in Audiology and/or Doctorate of Audiology required.
- Those candidates already in possession of a Florida audiology license will be given preference.
Qualifications
- Entry level candidates are welcome to apply with experience in pediatrics.

Pay
Salary is negotiable based on years of experience.
