Through partnerships with Westchester Medical Center, the CI Balancing Center, and APS, it provides comprehensive hearing healthcare services to a diverse and growing patient population. WIHD serves more than 10,000 individuals annually and is recognized for its commitment to helping children and adults maximize their communication, independence, and quality of life.

Role Overview

WIHD's Speech & Hearing Center is seeking a compassionate and skilled Audiologist to join a highly respected team serving infants, children, and adults throughout Westchester County and the Lower Hudson Valley. This part‑time, flexible‑hours position offers the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population, utilize advanced diagnostic technologies, and collaborate with leading healthcare partners. The role may involve pediatric audiology, hearing technology, diagnostic services, and serving individuals with developmental disabilities, with occasional supervision of graduate students.

Qualifications

  • Master’s or Doctoral degree in Audiology from an accredited institution.
  • NY State licensure or eligibility to obtain licensure as an Audiologist.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology (CCC‑A) from ASHA or equivalent certification.
  • Strong knowledge of audiological diagnostic procedures, assessment techniques, and treatment options.
  • Proficiency with sophisticated audiological equipment and specialized software for testing and analysis.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, able to explain complex audiological concepts to patients of all ages.
  • Empathetic, patient‑focused approach addressing the emotional and psychological aspects of hearing loss.
  • Detail‑oriented with exceptional organizational and time‑management skills.
  • Preference given to candidates who desire to work with children and/or individuals with neurodevelopmental disabilities.

Schedule

AUD Schedule: Mondays through Fridays. Full‑time and part‑time opportunities are available.
