Job Responsibilities/Results
- Examine hearing and fit hearing aids.
- Conduct cerumen management procedures, including ear suction and manual removal of earwax, in accordance with established protocols.
- Provide training sessions for providers/students on the proper cerumen management techniques.
- Clean and service hearing aids, ensuring they are functioning correctly and are free from debris.
- Counsel patients on use and care of their hearing instruments including phone connectivity and associated apps.
- Maintain accurate patient records, documenting cerumen management procedures and hearing aid maintenance.
- Assist in scheduling appointments and managing patient flow within the clinic.
- Provide exceptional customer service, addressing patient inquiries and concerns with empathy and professionalism.
Job Requirements
- Minimum Education, Certification and Experience Requirements: One of the Following Required:
- Audiology License in Minnesota
- Hearing Instrument Dispenser in Minnesota
- Knowledge / Technical Requirements: Proficient in using electronic health record (EHR) systems for patient documentation. Familiarity with hearing aid cleaning and maintenance tools and techniques. Competence in using medical equipment related to cerumen management and hearing aid cleaning.

Salary And Other Compensation
- The annual salary for this position is between $80,000 - $100,000 / year.
- Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
