Audiologist - Dothan AL

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Audiologist to join our team in performing medical assessments for U.S. Veterans as part of the VA's disability benefits process. You will review the Veteran's medical records, conduct a Maryland CNC Test and Puretone Audiometric test, and complete a Disability Benefits Questionnaire (DBQ) within a secure portal. This role does not involve prescribing medical treatments or devices; disability determinations are made by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA).

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-person disability assessments for U.S. Veterans.
• Review and analyze electronic medical records via a secure web portal.
• Accurately document exam findings and complete required VA forms.

Requirements

• Au.D. degree from an ASHA-accredited school.
• Current license as an Audiologist.
• Comfortable using technology to review records and complete documentation.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to meet deadlines.
• Compassionate and professional demeanor when interacting with Veterans.

Schedule

• Part-time, 2 days per week.
• In-person role with a caseload of 3-6 Veterans per day on average.
• Predictable schedule with no on-call duties.
